India’s capital city, Delhi, shows a blend of the past and present, where the tour begins. Upon your arrival at the airport or railway station, the passengers are picked up and escorted to their booked accommodations. A full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi, conventionally divided into Old Delhi and New Delhi, on the second day. The morning is spent exploring Old Delhi and witnessing Mughal-era structures. The massive Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former Mughal Empire seat. The stunning Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. A frenzied rickshaw ride along the vibrant, sinuous streets of the ancient Chandni Chowk market, the next destination. The day ends in New Delhi.

Must-visit attractions are the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Qutub Minar’s tallest brick minaret. Visit the Lotus Temple and Raj Ghat Memorial Site. The tour proceeds from Agra to Rajasthan on day four, and reaching Ajmer is a part of the plan. Fatehpur Sikri is the stunning, deserted red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century, often explored on a road trip. With its meticulously preserved palaces, courtyards and the massive Buland Darwaza, this UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a fascinating glimpse into the short life of the Mughal capital. A trip to the city’s most significant spot, the world-famous Ajmer Sharif Dargah, concludes the day. The mausoleum of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti is a major sightseeing point for Indian Muslims and attracts followers of every creed.

Pushkar is a nearby sightseeing attraction, where you will visit the oldest cities in India. Worship Jagatpita Brahma Mandir is one of the only temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. 52 bathing ghats surround the sacred Pushkar Lake, the spiritual hub of the town. Pilgrims gather here in the belief that it washes off sins and cures skin ailments by bathing in its holy waters. The remaining day can be spent exploring the town’s Hindu temples, wandering its bustling shopping bazaars, and immersing in Pushkar’s peaceful charm.

Today, get transferred to Jaipur, the most spectacular of the Golden Triangle’s cities. The capital of Rajasthan and a flourishing center of Rajput culture and crafts, Jaipur or the Pink City, is due to the Old City’s peculiar pink structures. The evening is at leisure to indulge in the local bazaars, where you can find traditional fabrics, jewellery or blue pottery. Later, relax and enjoy the remaining day.

The day explores more of the royal heritage of the Pink City. The amazing Amber Fort lies on a hill just outside the city proper. The great architecture of the fort, especially its Sheesh Mahal, is one of its most notable attractions.

The historic Hawaa Mahal, an extraordinary five-story façade with 953 small windows built to allow royal women to observe street festivities. A visit to the City Palace, a compound of courtyards, gardens, and buildings, continues to be the royal family’s residence and features a museum.

Jantar Mantar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a cluster of 19 astronomical instruments, built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.
