Itinerary

The beautiful Pink City of Jaipur is renowned for its rose-hued structures within the walled city and serves as the perfect starting point to discover the royal glory of Rajasthan. On reaching the city, settle down and relax for the remaining day. Stay overnight in Jaipur.

The whole day is devoted to exploring this old city through the Jaipur Sightseeing Tour. The imposing Amber Fort is often explored by car or elephant, offering stunning views and intricate Rajput-Mughal decoration, usually one of the main highlights. The City Palace is a beautiful complex that still serves as the residence of the royal family. Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the iconic Hawa Mahal, an impressive five-story façade containing 953 small windows, are the classic stops for tourists in the city. A cultural evening or a visit to the crowded local bazaars for handicrafts, jewellery and traditional textiles are normal ways of concluding the day.

The journey to the northwestern city of Bikaner. The Camel Country, Bikane,r was a principal trading center and gives insight into the unspoiled desert. The afternoon visit is typically spent sightseeing - Junagarh Fort is a massive castle containing opulent palaces and museums. It involves the National Research Center on Camels, or the only Karni Mata Temple in Deshnok.

Jaisalmer, or the Golden City is a long drive further into the Thar Desert. Upon arrival, the afternoon will generally be spent relaxing or exploring the peaceful Gadisar Lake to see the sunset.

The day is planned to explore the desert city of Rajasthan – Jaisalmer. Start by visiting a living fortress where almost 25% of the population of the old city resides in Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Qila. Outside the fort, travellers can explore the marvellous carved Havelis or sandstone houses like Patwon ki Haveli and Salim Singh ki Haveli. Take a desert experience while camel safari, jeep safari, dune bashing, cultural performance with traditional Rajasthani folk dance and music. Stay relaxed overnight at the camp.

Jodhpur is commonly referred to as the Blue City, is an eastward drive that is very contrasting to the Thar Desert due to its blue-painted houses. A half-day or full-day of sightseeing begins the moment you arrive. The awe-inspiring Mehrangarh fort, one of India’s largest and most impressive forts. It lies on a hilltop and offers panoramic views of the blue city. Take a drive through the stunning Umaid Bhawan Palace, a royal palace and heritage hotel. Enjoying a walk in the bustling Ghanta Ghar and the crowded Sadar Bazaar, perfect for exploring in the evening.

Take a drive south to the state’s only hill station through the scenic Mount Abu Transfer. It offers a much-needed relief from the historical overdrive and desert heat. The must-see places are Nakki Lake, where boating is a popular activity, and the complex of delicately chiselled white marble Dilwara Jain Temple. End the day by visiting Sunset Point and immersing how the sun glows behind the hills.

The destination is the Udaipur Transfer, also known as the “City of Lakes” or “Venice of the East.” The city is famously known for its scenic landscape, which boasts white marble structures and serene lakes. Once they reach their hotel, travellers can opt for a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola to witness the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir.

This day is devoted to experiencing the splendor of Udaipur. The prime attraction is the stunning City Palace, a group of palaces, gardens and courtyards, over the lake shores. The peaceful gardens of Saheliyon ki Bari, Jagdish Temple and local cultural show at Bagore ki Haveli. The day showcases Rajasthan’s royalty, artistic, and refined aspects.
